AFTER attending several rodeos this fall... I got an itch to once again paint horses (that's all I drew and painted as a young girl) ...my muse has been bugging me and filling my mind with all the wonderful horse images I might create... Well I finally listened and this happened. My daughter and I, both professional photographers, were shooting at the Ellensburg Rodeo on Labor Day ... So I had lots of reference material to work from. This image caught my eye because of the action and the wonderful lighting. This will probably remain in my private collection but I do plan to enter it in a few shows...
