Blossom Magic 3 is the third in my Apple Blossom series. The colors in this piece are really true to the blossoms and the background. I enjoy creating abstract sections of a piece that tie everything together. If you look at the detail below, you'll see how I pulled the turquoise at the top, down into the sienna brown. I painted this very loosely, trying not to get too much detail in. My goal was to get more of the 'feeling' of blossoms - light, airy, delicate and still have a good strong composition.
